A Forbes reporter reviews a case study on Connecticut and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, that will highly impact health insurance and paying for health care.

She finds the benchmark plan, as described by Kevin Counihan, the CEO of Connecticut’s health insurance exchange marketplace (“Access Health CT”):  “We have a benchmark plan that is uncompetitive…it’s too expensive.”    It won’t help the people it’s designed to help.

She also finds “bureaucrats who don’t want to talk” about it and the bureaucratic factors causing higher pricing for many.

Only six months until implementation.

Remember what you were led to believe:  “You’ll be able to keep your plan” and “not another dime”.
