Q. MLB vs. Insurers. Who wins?

A. The lawyers. 
Despite an exclusion for “virus” and “disease-causing or illness-causing agent” in the policies, MLB is suing its insurers for COVID-19 related losses. Don’t be surprised. When the dollar amount is this big – potentially over $1b – well, damn the contractual language, find a judge/court that likes baseball/ hates insurance, hire the best lawyers, and hack away for whatever you can get.
