If you’re one of them you will be getting re-written with Safeco Insurance at your next renewal. You will be getting correspondence directly from them and we will be monitoring the process. We will also be looking at possibly moving your insurance to one of our other insurers – Safeco might not be the right fit for everybody.
This isn’t the first or only one; Kemper and Guard are just 2 others that have already left the Connecticut personal lines market and we’ve already addressed almost all of those.
So, what’s going on? The same factors that are driving insurance premiums up are pushing some insurers out of the marketplace altogether. That’s a whole different discussion. Some other post.
